When your corporation outgrows patchwork communications, we wire the whole picture.

Voice, data, and internal messaging should not live in three different worlds. HalTech builds the spine — honestly, sometimes that means telling you the old PBX is fine for another year.

Look, we are picky about geography: we do not send on-site engineers to Alaska or Hawaii. Remote support only for those states — the rest of the country gets both.

What we actually run for you

No buzzword soup. Three lanes — each with a named owner on our side so you are not chasing tickets into the void.

Unified voice fabric

SIP trunks, failover routing, and desk phones that behave the same in Dallas as in Denver. We document dial plans in plain English — weird concept, we know.

Secure internal messaging

Encrypted channels for legal and ops teams, retention rules that match your policy, and audit trails your compliance officer can read without aspirin.

WAN and campus networks

MPLS-style discipline without the 1990s price tag — SD-WAN where it fits, fiber where it does not. The thing is, we will say no to a vendor kickback if the box is wrong for you.

How a project moves

  1. 1Discovery call — 45 minutes, no slides unless you want them. We map what breaks today.
  2. 2Written assessment — delivered within five business days after we see your network diagrams.
  3. 3Build phase — staged cutovers so Friday afternoon is never the first test.

Fair question.

Why not hire a giant integrator with three hundred names on the bench?

Because your account will not be practice round seven for a junior analyst. HalTech caps active rollouts at twelve concurrent enterprises — not a flex, a ceiling. Past that we wait.

Voices from the field

“They told us our old call center trunk was — actually, fine for six more months. Saved us a pile. Then they replaced it right when volume spiked.”

Rina Okonkwo
VP Ops, Meridian Freight Co.

“Messaging audit caught three shadow apps. Nothing fancy on the slide deck, just names and risk scores we could act on Monday.”

Theo Barnhardt
IT Director, Lakeside Regional Health

“Honestly? First week was rough — handoff from the previous vendor was messy. HalTech stayed until 2 a.m. once. We did not pay extra for that night.”

Jess Pirelli
CIO, Hartwell Alloy Group

FAQ

We procure and provision hardware as part of a project — not a retail storefront. Bundled with support, always.

Manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and financial services with under ten thousand seats. Above that we bring in a partner carrier — we stay honest about where our bench ends.

Twelve or twenty-four months is typical for managed work. If you only want the written assessment first, we can keep that phase month-to-month until you decide on a build.

Five business days after we receive network diagrams plus agreed read-only access — weekends do not count. If your firewall team needs two weeks to open ports, the clock starts when access works, not when you first emailed.

Yes, when the contract and routing still make sense. We have replaced carriers when the math was ugly — but we do not force churn for a spiff.

Included: written findings, risk callouts, and a phased recommendation you can hand to finance. Not included: hands-on remediation, overnight cutovers, or pen-testing — those are quoted separately if you want HalTech to execute them.

Lower forty-eight: both. Alaska and Hawaii: remote support only from our Austin hub — no travel. Canada: by separate statement of work.

That is how most rollouts start. We document the pilot runbook so site two is boring — boring is good here.

For covered workloads we execute a BAA where HalTech touches PHI on your behalf, and we map controls to your security questionnaire. Legal still reviews both sides — we are engineers, not your outside counsel.

Often we augment, not replace: your team keeps day-two tickets; we own backbone design, carrier escalations, and the 2 a.m. bridge when a trunk fails. The mix varies — we spell it out in the SOW so nobody’s role gets fuzzy.

Contract clients with a holiday addendum reach the on-call queue. Everyone else hits voicemail with a published SLA for the next business day. No surprises — the table is in the appendix.

Five business days from the moment we have your diagrams and read-only access paths — not from the handshake photo.
